What is Self Defense?
Self Defense are quick but effective techniques offering, especially women, the fastest way to be self-confident and handle potential situations of aggression. Courses focus on both anti-aggression methods (physical skills) and moral reasoning (psychological skills). Training is intuitive and doesn’t require any physical preparation or prior skill.
What style the class is based on?
Our Self Defense class is based on articular locks (called Qin na) and Eight Extremities Boxing, a martial style chosen amongst 200 for its effectiveness and actually introduced by Chinese police for defense purposes.
Students who wish to get deeper in this style can attend Eight Extremities Boxing class directly and learn it fully. Please take a look to this table to check the physical intensity of this class.
All classes and styles belong to the Shunlian Shenghuo Kungfu Academy program and are brought to you in their genuineness.

The Shunlian Shenghuo Kungfu Academy allows its Students to learn any class with no limitation. However, we strongly suggest to follow a gradual 3+2 year program where you can start from the easiest skill to the most complex Shaolin Kungfu technique. Furthermore, this is the only way the Academy will recognize your achievements.
